SCREENING OF DESERT DREAMS AT TUCSON FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL

ASMP Tucson member Thomas Wiewandt’s film Desert Dreams will be part of the Tucson film festival.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 9, TUCSON ARIZONA

Now in its 10th year, the Tucson Film & Music Festival will be opening its festivities with an outdoors screening of Desert Dreams at the Cinema La Placita, followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and a 10-min animated film, The Oceanmaker. Bill Elm & Joe Peña will then perform a special live music score to a cult classic animated film (title to be announced at the event). Chairs and benches provided will seat about 175.  Attendees may bring their own chairs, blankets, etc. There’s a grass area. Dress for nighttime cold!

When:  7:30pm, doors open at 6:30pm; Box Office opens at 6:00pm

Cost:  $5.00/person. Tickets are available on-site only – the Box Office (110 S. Church Ave.) opens at 6:00pm.  Credit cards or cash accepted.
