“Cook It, Shoot It, Eat It” event returns …

CookIt_2014_600px

Last year we held Cook It, Shoot It, Eat It – which was so much fun we decided to repeat it again. Learn a recipe from Chef Tom Gerlak, then how to photograph it as a product shot, using studio lighting and modifiers, by Thomas Veneklasen. After the lesson, we’ll all partake in eating, drinking and socializing. Come join us and bring your cameras! RSVP appreciated by July 13th.

“I was doing video of the ‘Dotting of the Eyes of the Lions’ Ceremony at the Tucson Chinese Culture Center.
My kids have purchased there own Lion used in ceremonies that primarily are performed around Chinese New Year.
When you have a new Lion, the teachers will wake up the Lions by doing a dotting the eyes, ears, feet and tail. It is like giving a soul to the lion.”
