How did you become interested in photography?

While in school I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do. I took a couple of photography courses and thought this is for me. I enjoyed the process and wanted to do something that positively affected others.

What has been your most interesting or favorite assignment/ situation/or person?

While I love all my jobs and people I have photographed my biggest job was shooting for Kia motors training video. The production was exciting and all the people were very enjoyable to work with.

What is important to you?

It is important to me that when I leave the person and or client I am working for, thinks to them selves they had a good time. I want them to have a pleasant experience. I believe if that happens it makes Both of us look good.

How have you taught yourself to adapt to change?

Well I know the only way to get better at anything is to keep trying and trying new things. Life is always changing.

What are the most important things you have learned?

Learned and still learning how to speak in public. I am learning how to think on my feet and work with sudden changes. ( weather, location, equipment issues )

Please explain why you joined ASMP?

I joined ASMP to learn more about the business end. I joined to learn how to price myself for different jobs, and new photo techniques.

What is something you would like people to know that was not asked?

I love my job, but I have many other interests in my life. I love to mountain bike, go fishing with my husband, and hiking and swimming with my two wonder dogs.
